Many thanks to our Parents’ Association for organising a very successful ‘Sponsored Walk’ recently to raise funds for our school.
A total of €3425 was raised and we would like to thank the whole school community most sincerely for contributing to this fundraiser. Special thanks to everyone who helped on the day.
Congratulations to Hannah, Jack and James Sheehy and also to Freya Boyle on winning the Smyths Vouchers.

Classes from 3rd to 6th have been learning Spanish over the past few weeks. Sandra, who is a primary school teacher in Northern Spain, spent 6 Wednesdays in our school teaching her native language. It was a great opportunity for the pupils to be exposed to another language.
Adiós Sandra. Muchas gracias. Hasta pronto!

Pupils in Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed participating in Science Week. The children completed lots of interesting experiments. They made rockets using paper and a straw. The children enjoyed making oobleck using water and cornflour. We learned how to make raisins dance using carbonated water. Mr. Goulding showed us how to make a lava lamp. The children designed and built rockets using our Polydron set during Aistear. Well done boys and girls!
