Christmas Concert Tickets

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

You are aware by now that the School Christmas Concert is being performed on Monday & Tuesday, Dec. 5th & 6th @ 7pm and a Matinee on Wednesday 7th @ 11am here at the school. There is a huge demand for tickets and due to limited space, unfortunately there will be a shortage of tickets (140 seats per show). We want to accommodate immediate family members first. So if you haven’t sent in your order with payment, please do so tomorrow. We don’t want you to be disappointed. After that we will distribute any remaining tickets.

Yours sincerely,
Norma O’ Carroll.

Science Week 2016

Science Week 2016

Everyone got into the spirit of science week with some fantastic experiments being performed in all classrooms. Well done to our 6th class pupils who turned the library into a science lab and put on a brilliant display of experiments for all classes. Children were able to see first hand, experiments such as … how to make a lava lamp, how to make a circuit, soluble and insoluble materials, magnetic and non-magnetic materials, how a submarine works, filtration, floating and sinking, friction, surface tension, dancing raisins and how to make a volcano. Science is alive and well in Sliabh a’ Mhadra!
