Today we were delighted to welcome back one of our past pupils, Paddy O’Rourke with the Kennedy Cup. Paddy was outstanding in the competition and played a huge role in Kerry claiming the SFAI Kennedy Cup 2015 for the first time in history. Team manager Brendan Hogan spoke to the pupils about their Kennedy Cup tournament and the tremendous week they had in UL. We were also introduced to the other team members who accompanied Paddy. What an achievement! We are so proud of you Paddy!

Congratulations to our 6th class pupils who graduated on the 23rd of June. They entertained us on the night with a lovely rendition of George Ezra’a ‘Budapest’ and some tin whistle tunes. Patrick, Ethan, Owen and J.P. reminded us of some of their best memories of Primary School. Mr. O’ Connor spoke about the ups and downs of the past two years while working with the class. Shane and Ethan cut the magnificent cakes one of which was especially made by Stella Fealy. Many thanks to Ciara Moriarty, Anne Costello, Neasa Donegan, Máiréad O’Connor and Muireann O’Neill for an absolutely wonderful spread of confectionery for everyone to enjoy following the occasion.

Our Parents’ Association held a very successful Fun Day at the school on Sunday 7th June.
There were bouncing castles, B.B.Q, bric-a-brac, raffle, soccer, pony rides and lots of fun games and activities for all the family. It was an ideal opportunity for parents to meet and chat with other parents while the children were busy having fun taking part in the many activities on offer.
Great credit is due to our fantastic Parents’ Association who worked really hard to make sure everything was in order.
Special thanks to Buddy Enright and his daughters, Siobhán Hennessy and Ciara Moriarty for their huge input into making sure the Fun day was the success that it was.
Many thanks to all who came along and supported us on the day!
