Seán set for Croker!
Congratulations to Seán McGrath, 6th class, on being selected to play in the Cumann na mBunscol/I.N.T.O. Respect Exhibition Go Games. Seán was selected following his outstanding performance in the recent mini sevens county final. He will play at half time in the All-Ireland Football Semi-final in Croke Park in August. A fantastic achievement Seán, well done!
Kilmore Beach with Jeff Hunt
Jeff Hunt, environmentalist, was back with us again for a final visit this year. This time it was the turn of 2nd and 3rd class who enjoyed a very educational trip to Kilmore beach.
Primary Game 2015
Congratulations to Kevin Goulding (No.9) and Aoibhe Joy (No.5) who have been selected to take part in the Primary game, boys’ football and girls’ football teams, at half time in the Munster Senior football semifinal. Children from Primary schools all over Kerry took part in trials in Tralee over 2 days and it was a great achievement for Kevin and Aoibhe to be selected. Semple Stadium will be the venue for the Kerry v Tipperary semifinal on the 14th June 2015. We wish them both the very best of luck!

Infants’ School Tour 2015
Kennedy’s Pet Farm 2015
Kennedy’s Pet Farm and playground was the venue for the Junior and Senior Infants school tour this year. We were blessed with a lovely warm day and not a drop of rain appeared until we were almost home. The children got to admire, feed and cuddle a large variety of animals – deer, pigs, piglets, horses, calves, sheep, lambs, goats, kids, donkeys, pot bellied pigs, rabbits, duck and ducklings, geese and goslings and “Prince” the peacock. It was a most enjoyable day in a safe and friendly environment.
