This week we were delighted to welcome Garda Keith Maher and Detective Aidan Carey (parent) to talk to our pupils. They spoke about the role of the Gardaí in the community, the equipment they use, how to become a Garda, the different divisions of An Garda Síochána, safety online and substance abuse. It was very informative and children especially loved trying on the hand-cuffs, the jacket and the bullet proof vest! It was a very worthwhile session and thanks to Aidan and Keith for giving of their time.
