County Minor Champions 2021

County Minor Champions 2021

We were delighted to welcome the Ballyduff County Minor Hurling Champions 2021 and their management team to our school recently.

These boys played their hearts out on County Final Day and we are very proud of them. The county final was played at Austin Stack Park, Tralee on 12th Sept. and they defeated St. Brendan’s, Ardfert on a score line of 0.23 to 0.10. The backroom team was John Hennessy. Mikey Boyle, Padraig Harrington and William Quinlan.

Mikey Boyle spoke about the commitment and dedication of his team and how proud he was of them. Teacher, Maurice O’ Connor, spoke eloquently about the superb performance of the team in the final and of the pride of parish which the team had instilled in the people of Ballyduff.

It was our pleasure to welcome back 8 of our former pupils who were part of the winning team: Seán O’ Sullivan, Luke Kennelly, Jack Enright, Adam Segal, Tommy O’Grady, Evan Boyle, Adam Lynch and Aodhán Curley.

Graduation Ceremony 2021

Thank you to Fr. Brendan for celebrating a lovely mass. 6th class performed a selection of songs and tin whistle tunes and shared their memories of their 8 years in primary school. Presentations were made to each student on behalf of the School and the Parents’ Association and they each received a gorgeous cupcake which was specially made by Stella Fealy for the occasion.

We are confident these great young people are ready to face the challenges of the next chapter in their education. We wish them the very best of luck!

Christmas Crib Creations

Christmas Crib Creations

Our 6th class were very busy in the lead up to Christmas creating their very own cribs. It was a most enjoyable and worthwhile experience for them. The resulting cribs are works of art and all so unique and beautiful. No doubt they will be treasured for years to come. Well done to all!

Christmas Jumper Day 2020

Christmas Jumper Day 2020

We raised an amazing €580 during our recent fundraiser in aid of CHI at Crumlin. Thank you to everyone who participated in our festive day of fun. The funds raised will help the dedicated teams of doctors and nurses fighting to save the lives of some of Ireland’s sickest children. We are proud to support this wonderful cause. Thank you again for your generosity and support.
