We fondly remember our good friend and Kerry gem, Weeshie Fogarty, who passed away on Sunday last. He visited our school in December 2014 to present medals to our school football team who won the Cumann na mBunscol county final. He was an absolute gentleman on the day and showed great kindness and warmth to everyone he met. May you rest in peace in your new Kingdom Weeshie.

There was a great response to this year’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal. A total of 138 boxes were handed over to Team Hope representatives and will shortly be on their way to needy children in foreign lands. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Well done everyone!

Fifth Class pupils familiarized themselves with the layout of the Bible and sorted the names of the various books into their correct sections.
They carried out an experiment to find out which materials are the best insulators.
They learned a lot about birds of prey, migratory birds, crows and other native wild animals during a recent visit by Tony Keneally to our school, under the Heritage in Schools Scheme.
