County Final fever well and truly hit Sliabh a’ Mhadra this week! Tralee Outlook paid a visit to capture the excitement on camera ahead of the County Senior Hurling Championship Final on Sunday. Our pupils were in great spirits and sang ‘The Boys of Ballyduff’ with great pride and passion.
We wish our Seniors the very best of luck on Sunday and we hope they bring home the Neilus Flynn Cup! Baile Dubh Abú!

Today we lined the corridor to bid farewell to our Rang a sé. A sad day for us. We are so proud of them and we thank them for all they have contributed to our school over the past 8 years. We hope they have fond memories of Sliabh a’ Mhadra and we wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives. Go n-éirí go geal libh!

Míle buíochas to Mr. O’ Connor and his 6th class for organising a fantastic afternoon of fun activities for the whole school. 6th class pupils took charge of each station at which a different activity took place. They encouraged everyone to do their best. A sticker and a sweet were given as a reward to everyone at the end. Well done to all!

The excitement was just electric today when work was interrupted by the sound of an ice-cream van arriving at the school. The children couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the van in the back yard! Everyone got to have an ice-cream cone with a choice of topping. They were absolutely delicious! Thank you to our Parents’ Association for such a lovely treat.

There were smiles all round today when our new infants came to visit. We wish them many happy and fulfilling years with us. We would also like to extend a very warm welcome to new families joining our school for the first time.
