Our annual Skipathon day was a great success with everyone from Junior Infants to 6th Class taking part. A total of €170 was raised for the Irish Heart Foundation. Skipathon is a combined fundraising and health promotion activity run by the Irish Heart Foundation. The charity supports those fighting heart disease/stroke and promotes the importance of physical activity in children. As well as raising money for the Irish Heart Foundation, it was a very enjoyable and active day. Thanks to everyone who brought in €1.

Great performance by our Girls’ football team who played in the Cuman na mBunscol blitz on May 23rd in Ballyduff. The girls beat Lixnaw and Dromclough and put up a good display against a strong Duagh team. Thanks to Mr. White and Ms. Spellman for bringing the girls to the blitz. Well done everyone!

The Senior Girls enjoyed a fun filled day of basketball in Causeway Comprehensive School. Every girl played their heart out and really enjoyed themselves! Kayleigh won the free throw competition in a nail-biting finish! Well done to the girls for representing the school so well! Thanks to Ms. Spellman and Ms. Wren for taking the girls to Causeway.
