Pupils from Infants to sixth class took part in an anti bullying poster competition as part of our annual friendship week. The theme was standing tall. Members of our health committee judged the competition and awarded a homework voucher to our worthy winners. Well done everyone!

We had a great turn out for the St. Patrick’s day parade in Ballyduff with over 70 children taking part! Thankfully the rain stayed away although it was bitterly cold. Our theme this year was ‘Proud to be Irish.’ Many thanks to William Quinlan and Liam Houlihan for providing transport on the day and to Sandra Carey, Ciara Moriarty and Siobhán Hennessy for decorating the trailers for us. Thanks to Aidan, Sabrina, Sandra, Paul and Michael for carrying our school banner and to Leslie and Geraldine for all their support. Great fun was had by all!

T.J., Conor, Hannah and Oisín with Mrs. O’Dwyer at the Chapter 23 Final of the Credit Union Quiz. Unfortunately they were not among the medal winners but they performed very well and did our school proud. Better luck next year!
